Formulas for Measures in the Fabric Metrics App

I am working with a custom dashboard derived from the Fabric Metrics App and would like to know if there is a way to view the formulas for the measures. If this functionality is not available directly, could someone inform me where I can find specific details about these formulas?

Thanks!

Hi, @onerbreno

I am glad to help you.

According to your description, you want to know if there is a way to view the formulas for the measures?

If I understand you correctly, then you can refer to my solution.

Unfortunately it is not possible to view Measure's formulas directly in the dashboard.

Maybe you can try another method.

A user must have write and build semantic model permissions in order to open and edit the corresponding data model in the Power BI service.

If you have write and build permissions for the semantic model, you can follow the steps to view the formulas in Measure:

First, select 'Workspace settings' and then check the features circled in red box in the image below:

Then open the dashboard and click on the corresponding tile, it should jump to the corresponding report, then click on 'View semantic model':

Click 'Open data model', and then click Measure on the right side to see the corresponding formula.

Here is an official document, hope it is helpful to you:

I hope my suggestions give you good ideas, if you have any more questions, please clarify in a follow-up reply.
Best Regards,
Fen Ling,
