Filtering via URL seems to not work on first load

Wondering if anyone else is having this problem.  Downloaded the latest version and enabled the preview feature for the new filters.  But, now for some reason, when the users click the link that they use to access the report and filter down to their customer, the filter part of the URL is kicked out and it just loads the report.

If the user does a couple more times, the dynamic URL filter sticks.

Is this a bug?

Here is the URL:

https://app.powerbi.com/groups/6d3277b2-76d7-470a-9ec0-feb099cb7e13/reports/0ab109a5-a6c6-4a64-ab59-...

This is coming from a link in Salesforce applying the account Number to filter.

Thanks

Cathryn

Hi @Cathryn ,

I have a little confused about your scenario.

It seems that you enable the preview feature New filter experience.

However, what is the URL? Is the URL from report link under Share report?

If it is convenient, could you share some steps and screenshots to describe your issue in more details?

Best  Regards,

Cherry

The link is the URL that you grab when you share the report.  In Salesforce we can create links and append the Account # to filter the Power BI report so it becomes a URL with filter parameters.  (See Below)

https://app.powerbi.com/groups/6d3277b2-76d7-470a-9ec0-feb099cb7e13/reports/0ab109a5-a6c6-4a64-ab59-...

When the user clicks the link, you can see the full URL but then everything after ReportSection2 disappears and it doesn't filter.  But if the user keeps clicking the link and opening up continuous browsers, it eventually filters.

There isn't really any screen shots to show.
