Hi everyone,
I have been trying to generate a URL to filter a report I use by a specific project, with no luck. Hoping someone can help.
The table and field I want to reference is _test_table/project
I'm using the unicode character 005F, preceded by _x and followed by _ to account for the underscore before and after "test."
So at the end of the report URL I type ?filter=_x005F_test_x005F_table/project eq 'P-1234'
I've also tried ?filter=_x005F__test_x005F__table/project eq 'P-1234' to include the underscore along with the unicode character for it.
Neither options work. Kudos to anyone who can figure this one out!

Hi @v-eqin-msft . Unfortunately not. The only solution I have found is if I rename my table from _project_table to projecttable without the underscores.
Hi @bchager6 ,
Please upgrade your Power BI Desktop to the latest version and have a try again.
The suffix of--> ?filter=_test_table/project eq 'P-1234' works fine on my side.

Hi @bchager6 ,
According to the error message, it seems that you have trouble logging in Power BI not the URL Filter.
Please close all brower windows and have a try again.
If it does not make sense , please use another browse or clear cookies & cache.

Hi @bchager6 ,
Based on my test, you could use underscore directly instead of converting in URL:
Thank you. I appreciate your help here but it's not working for me for some reason. I've tried with a report and an App and receive the below message.
