Filter pane not shown

Hi,

I have a report where in Power BI Desktop under options the settings for filtering are enabled.

Also in PBI Desktop the filter panes are enabled for all my report pages.

However, once uploaded into the service, no filter panes are shown.

Once I edit the report in the service, funnily the filters panes are disabled.

Unfortunately, enabling and saving does not change anything. The next time I click on Edit, again the panes are disabled.

I checked two other reports. Same settings => Filter pane is working.

I really start getting crazy...

Does anyone have an idea?

BR Christian

Hi. That's so weird, it sounds like there is a strange cache that is not really saving the change.

Have you tried turning the filter pane on from the Power Bi Desktop file and replace the report publishing again?

I think that should fix it.

I hope that helps,

Hi,

I tried this a couple of times before but this does not help. Also, as you mentioned the word "cache", I used the CTRL+F5 combination to clear the browser cache. Finally, I also tried it out with another browser. However, nothing changed.

I now uploaded the report into another workspace et voilà, filter panel is there.

As I am not so familiar with the community rules. Do I need to accept your reply as a solution or what should I do?

Thx for your reply, Christian

Alright. Happy to hear. It's always the best choice to modify from PBI Desktop and publish again (replacing). Changes are much stable like that.

If you think my answer helped then yes, you should accepted. If not, then you can accept yours explaining how it solved the issue.

Regards
