I have set up a Lakehouse containing the following tables: Calendar, Products, Customers, and Sales. In a separate workspace, I've created a new Semantic model, with the Lakehouse workspace having elevated access (Pro users, developers), and the destination workspace having a general-purpose (Free license).
Initially, when creating a report in direct lake mode, everything works smoothly. However, upon adding additional tables to the lake, I encountered an issue where the Semantic model deletes the original tables and retains only the newly added ones. Conversely, attempting to add back the original tables results in the deletion of the newly added table.
Is this a bug? Any insights? I'd prefer not to start from scratch with the report, as recreating it would consume a significant amount of time.

Hi, @debiagui
Based on the information you provided, I also created a Lakehouse inside Data Engineering.
Then add a table in Lakehouse called Calendar.
When New semantic model is selected, associated semantic models can be created in the new workspace, and tables can be added and deleted in the existing Lakehouse.
I think you could try creating a new aliased table for the original table and then use the new aliased table in the report. That way you can keep the original table in the semantic model and still use the newly added table in the report. If this does not work, you can try deleting the newly added tables and then adding them back to the semantic model one at a time. This should help you identify which table is causing the issue.

Thanks, today I tried again and works fine, seems it was a temporary issue.
