I am trying to set Reflex alerts in this app. I can set it for the Ribbon visual but not the Utilization / Throttling visual. Instead I get the following error: An internal error occurred while creating your trigger. If this error persists, please contact support, quoting the following information: "Power BI metric query failed"

This is explicitly not supported.  Raise a ticket, complain to your sales rep, or write your own reports against the Kusto source.

Keep in mind that the data is at least 8 minutes delayed, so the reflexes will be rather useless anyway.

Hi.  

It almost seems like its random.  Sometimes 8 minutes, sometime less?  I'm the only one using Activator and Reflex in our environment and its under no load.  Is this configurable?  I remember seeing 8 minutes somewhere when I was setting it up.

We want to use this to kick off pipelines when data is changed in the source and were going to use azure function/logic app to EventHub to Activator --> Reflex --> Kick off pipeline.

I can get the pipelines to kick off sending in a test message from EventHub, and it looks fine until the reflex part actually acts on the message and calls the pipeline.  That part is taking 2-8 minutes to wakeup and do anything..

I would seem shocking to me that it's expected behavior?  Yikes, we won't be able to use it as is currently.. Unless I'm wrong..

If there is a config setting for this could someone let me know and thanks!

I think it's something that is fundamentally slow in Kusto.  Find other ways to trigger your actions.
