External URL encoded parameters

IN our report we need include a link to a external web site. A parameter need to be passed to invoke the external URL, right now powerBI passed a plain text in the url like below:

http://viewexcelsample.apps.com?iD=1234

this is a URL inside a powerbi report . however this external url (also developed by us), required the parameter to be encoded / encrupted.. as some one can copy this URL and invoke in a browser from outside of PowerBI andwe cannot stop that.

any suggestion what encriptuion or encoding methods are available?

I think the question is rather - which encryption is expected by the target system?
