Extend RLS to the composite model which already has RLS implemented

Hi All,

I have a PowerBI model which already has the RLS working on it perfectly. I am doing data blending and creating composite model by adding the external data from sharepoint to the already published model and add more RLS on top of exisiting.

I have created a role Employee as with filtering on lvl1 and lvl2 tables like below.

When I check the role on desktop it works fine but when I publish on service it says cannot load visual data error.
I am not sure what I am missing here, can someone please assist?
1. Is it because I am doing lvl1 filtering as [manager email]= userprincipalname() and lvl2 as [email]= userprincipalname()

Have someone faced similar issue?
