Hello
I would like to export underlying data existing in a visual (like a chart) to an Excel file. I did activate the "export underlying data" in the PBIX file before publishing it to the service, but i don't know the setup on PBI Service.
From what i've read and seen on the export menu that appears, it seems that you can export underlying data, with filters, to an Excel file, without issues, as long as you start from a table or a matrix.
I was assuming that from other visuals it would always fail, but i got to the conclusion that of you're using a something like a chart it might or it might not work, i've had a test with success, and others failing, either PBI service saying it can't export, or Excel online opening and saying "you might have corrupted or missing data if you try to recover".
Can you please confirm this behaviour? Could it be some set placed by PBI Admin that is stopping me from having good export from visuals, or is it a limitation from PBI Service?
Regards
