Export to excel hanging, but csv works fine

I have a simple report, which includes a table with three fields (two attributes and one fact). Users can filter to a particular month.

The filtered data for Feb 2020 is about 100 rows.

The export to excel option spins and spins before timing out. The export to CSV works just fine.

Doing some testing, I found the issue was a filter I created within the visualization (matrix) to exclude records where the fact (Sales Units) = 0. When this filter is active, the export spins and hangs. When it is removed, the export works splendidly.

(In Feb 2020 there were 113 rows - 2 of them were zero.)

Any thoughts on this? My users greatly prefer to have zero values excluded from their downloads, but they also want their exports to work...

Hi @smcdougal ,

After my test, I couldn't reproduce your issue. Do your other reports have this issure?

If you can provide a generic repro, I would be glad to take a quick look and see if I can reproduce the issue. If so, we can figure out what is going on with it and maybe get a fix.
