Export only some data

Good morning to all.

Is it possible to allow a user to export only some data instead of all?
I know the simplest solution would obviously be to create new ad hoc reports with active "fixed" filters, but I still wanted to understand if there is such a feature...

Hi. The export option will always export all it can. The way to reduce rows will be filtering. If you want them to export less rows you can ask them to filter before export, add a hidden filter (or filter pane) or even RLS.

Another option you can consider is that inside the PowerBi Desktop settings or the Power Bi Service Report Settings you can configure the type of the export:

- Summarized data and data with current layout

- Summarized data, data with current layout and underlying data

- None
