Excel to Power BI Service using URl Filter

I am using below URL filter in the Excel(First Link) , i have list of codes and updated links in the excel. When i click on below hyper link its not going directly to my App  instead its asking me to sign in and once sign in, its taking me to  power bi service home page(second link). 

First Link:

https://app.powerbi.com/groups/me/apps/123/reports/123/ReportSection123?filter=Item/code in (123)

Second Link:

https://app.powerbi.com/home?route=groups%2Fme%2Fapps%123%2Freports%123%2123%3Ffilter%3DItem%2Fcode%...

I have tired below two options but didn't help:

1. I had already logged in the default browser for my power BI service account and made default page as Power BI service page.

2. I have around 100 codes, when i click on first link it takes me to sign in page but when i click on sign in it works for the first time.

but when i click on next hyper link it will take me to home page.

Pleas let me know any solution other than writing VD macros in excel.

Hi

I found that the best way was to copy your report URL into Excel as normal, click it from Excel and it will open with a sign in page, click sign in which takes you back to the report but this time copy the URL in teh address bar and use that as your Excel report URL. The URL normally ends in check=1 from my experience but maybe different and if it works for you then hey go with it. One day MS wil make their products work together

i have already tired that approach the problem is URL filter will not work.

HI @Anonymous ,

In fact, I haven't found any effective methods to avoid redirection and authorization verify when you click on power bi report link with URL filter.

Maybe you can consider using power bi embed to embed your reports then you can direct navigation to a specific report from excel.

I have checked all the links which you have shared but not useful. I have tried by using Power BI Excel Publisher still it didn't work. What I don’t understand here means I have logged in Browser to my power bi service and when I click on hyper link from excel why it asking me to sign in. Sign in also fine but why it’s taking back to home page instead of my application URL. It should be bug with Power BI or Excel.
