This may not be the right forum but I don't know any that could answer this. We have Excel users that like to hover over pivot tables and see any properties that the source may have. The source is an analysis services multi dimensional cube. The pivot table options have the feature selected. The tooltip just stopped displaying the properties. It does display the data for the context of what is in the pivot table. So if I add a property to a pivot table, the tooltip will display that property. But, it didn't previously need the propoerty to be shown in the pivot table to be able to be seen in the tooltip. We have a lot of properties users don't want to clutter up their pivot table with that they just want to see in the tooltip.
Hi @tbridge263
The issue with missing tooltips in Excel PivotTables connected to Analysis Services might be due to settings, updates, or cube changes.

If the issue persists, escalate to Microsoft support or test in another environment.

HI @tbridge263 ,
Somebody here might just know the answer but this is the Power BI forum so that is unlikely. The proper forum for this question is here: Excel | Microsoft Community Hub
Can you please either mark this as answered so others do not keep checking it out or delete it from the Power BI Forum
