Hello!
All of the sudden I get error:
SharePoint: Request failed: The remote server returned an error: (429). (429 TOO MANY REQUESTS). The exception was raised by the IDataReader interface. Please review the error message and provider documentation for further information and corrective action.
When I try to publish a new report to power bi service, I think it gets timeout because there is too much data to load? I got about 25k objects in 3 different sharepoint lists.. It takes about 6 hours and then this error shows.
I got incremental refresh on, someone know what might cause this? The only change I did was to change incremental refresh from 10 days to 31 days.
Hi @Anonymous ,
When an user has sent too many requests in a given amount of time, the server will return a 429 response to ask the current user not to send so many requests in a short period, it can be seen as a protective mechanism to avoid the risk of spamming requests.
To work around this issue, I suggest you input smaller number in such two fields or try to optimize report .
Did I answer your question ? Please mark my reply as solution. Thank you very much.
Best Regards,
Eyelyn Qin
Sorry but nothing helps.. I think I located the problem but I dont know what to do about it. I got a column called "Author" that I expanded to "Title", before it only said [Records]. When I expanded this one the refresh is SO slow. From minutes to hours to refresh and incremental refesh wont even work anymore. Any ideas?
