Hey everyone,
I saved a .pbix template in a shared drive but renamed it and moved it to another folder in the same shared drive.
All of the datasets and excel files are in the same place and I made sure all other instances of Power BI Desktop were not being used, especially for this particular template yet I am getting the following error:
"This file is in use.
Enter a new name or close the file that's open in another program."
Does anyone know if this is happening because I changed the name/location of where the template is stored?
It was working before and then all of a sudden this error started appearing across everyone in our network trying to open the file.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Hi @jchungfluentco,
In Power BI service, you get the .pbix file stored in OneDrive, right? After changing the name/location of where the file is stored, haved you re-edit your data source credential in data refresh schedule?
Best Regards,
Angelia
