Enterprise Gateway - Can't add datasource to gateway instance

Hi,

I'm trying to have enterprise gateway up and running on virtual Microsoft Windows Server 2016 DataCenter. Problem is after I have installed gateway, I can't add MySQL database to gateway shown in PBI Service Manage gateways.

"We could not register this data source for any gateway instances within this cluster. Please find more details below about specific errors for each gateway instance". 

When I install gateway on different computer, all works well, and I can add MySQL datasource.

I opened all ports, even turned off firewall, but I can't add datasource to gateway instance.

Please advise, I'm out of ideas. Thanks

I am getting the same error although saying Invalid credentials, even though the gateway is setup using same creds

I tried to install personal gateway, it also can't connnect to MySQL database. I tried to force Https communication, did not help. Latest MySQL connector is installed. Funny thing is that I can connect to database using VPN but not without one. Gateway is visible in Manage gateway section.
