Enable Data Load Questions

A few quick questions on the Enable Load:  1) If you uncheck the Enable Load it still will refresh in the PowerBI service correct?  and 2) Can I still click manually refresh in the PowerBI desktop and refresh all the data, even if the Enable Load is unchecked?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @Razorbx13 ,

  1. The data table with disabled ENABLE LOAD will still refresh the data. The only reason it's good to disable it on unwanted tables is, it doesn't store data in memory. So, from performance point of view it's a good practise.
  2. Yes when you Manually refresh data in Power BI Desktop along with unchecked Enable Load option. It will refresh your data.

Thanks,

Pragati
