ERROR WHEN PUBLISHING DASHBOARD

Hi, I have never had any issues when publishing reports until very recently.

Here is the error i am getting when trying to upload into the service directly
Activity ID: 970245e2-890c-4dee-be45-442109f72cc6
Request ID: 4442ac86-0d0b-bcfb-7efe-f7bee85dd2fa
Correlation ID: 0f3521b2-ad24-8f41-38f0-e896f94f0ce7
Status code: 0
Time: Mon Dec 05 2022 14:50:37 GMT-0500 (Eastern Standard Time)
Service version: 13.0.19585.55
Client version: 2211.4.11269-train
Cluster URI: https://wabi-canada-central-b-primary-redirect.analysis.windows.net/

I have tried publishing from the report itself on the desktop version but i get an error indicating that the connection was closed by the remote host.

I even went as far as to rebuilding the entire report in a new PBI file to see it that would help, it did not. Weirdly I am able to publish other reports to the service.

Hi @Abirtles ,

  1. Too large data model may be a reason for your scenario, maybe you can try to cut down you data size and try again.
  2. It could be the power bi server problem that you failed published. Use get data in power bi service and check if the data can be imported to power bi service.
  3. You can update the Power BI desktop to the latest version then publish again(Download link: Download Microsoft Power BI Desktop from Official Microsoft Download Center)
  4. You can Go to Power BI service, Get Data-> Files to get pbix files, this has the same effect as publish from desktop.
  5. If above methods are not working, please run Fiddler with Decrypt Https traffic enabled and repeat publish steps to reproduce the issue and post the related message for fur discussion.

In addition, you can also take a look at following link who faced similar issue:
