Dynamic User Access in Power BI App

Hello All,

I created an App with 4 reports. I want to add external users to this app in a single audience group. However, I want the users to have the reports which they intended to see in the App.

For example, if I share the app they will see all reports in their app based on assigned RLS. But I want User A to see reports 1, 2 and 4 and User B to see reports 2, 3 and 4.

Is it possible to have it like this?

Thanks in advance.

Hi. It's not all dynamic. You can create the app and configure audiences or OrgGroups apps to share with a security group. Then you can just add people to the security group in order to make the most dynamic configuration as possible. However, delimiting which reports should be seen by which group and adding people to the group is a manual job.

You can use audiences at Power Bi Apps: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-create-distribute-apps

If you are using Fabric Capacity you have a second alternative that is Org Apps: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-org-apps-with-multiple-audiences-now-generally-ava...

I hope that helps
