Due to Consecutive Errors Message Power BI App

Hello, I am an admin for my Power BI premium workspace. About a month ago an error message popped up for everyone using our app that reads "due to consecutive errors scheduled refresh has been disabled, please resolve the error on the dataset and then re-enable." I have fixed all refresh issues and republished the app multiple times but the errror message still persists. Any suggestions? Could this be a bug?

Hi @JML5525

It sounds more like a bug,

Instead of UN publishing the app and republishing it just delete it completely and create a new one. Note that you will need to share the new URL with the end users

Hey @JML5525 ,

of course this could be a bug, but

  • Why did you repbulish the app?
Do you mean you have published the Power BI report to the workspace again?
If you have a single a workspace, and you did NOT change the data visualizations, then republishing the app is not necessary. The content of the workspace and the content of an app use the same semantic model.
  • Did you re-enable the automatic refresh?
The refresh schedule will not be re-enabled when you publish the pbix that contains the semantic model to the workspace.

Regards,

Tom
