Greetings, all. I am trying to figure out if/where Power BI logs capture details about PBI embedded reporting for an app-owns-data scenario. Knowing who viewed what report is a big compliance need. I know there is the PBI Audit Log, but I only see the log capturing the service account used to access the reports rather than any details from the embedded app.
Is this done automatically anywhere? If not, what options are out there?
Hey @arpost ,
The app owns data, which means that your app is connected to Power BI on behalf of the connected user leveraging the steps that are described here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/developer/embedded/cloud-rls#generate-an-embed-token
For this reason, I assume that you have to create your monitoring inside your app.
Regards,
Tom
