DirectQuery - Source data access

Hello.

I have created a dashboard which uses DirectQuery as an access to the source data which is a PBI dataset in another workspace. I would like to know if it is necessary for dashboard users to have access to the source dataset if they want to display this data in my dashboard?

Hi @Anonymous 

 

If you use DQ it is necessary for your users to have underlying access to the dataset to view that report.
