Dear Community,
we are using DirectQuery Dataflows to apply dynamic RLS in our datasets. These models are using Dataflows (PowerPlatform) connector, not Power BI Dataflows (Legacy) connector.
All the models, including RLS filters, were working fine. But today I found out, that RLS has stopped working due an OLE DB or ODBC error, see the image below.
In import mode, everything is working fine. I read the Chriss Webb's blog, where he is describing this issue https://blog.crossjoin.co.uk/2022/05/08/understanding-the-we-couldnt-fold-the-expression-to-the-data... . In our data models there is no PowerQuery transformations. All the data are loaded 1:1. There is only a RLS filter which was working fine until now.
My question is if you notice a similar issue with DirectQuery Dataflow connector in last weeks? I can switch the model to the legacy connector, but I believe it is not the best option how to solve the issue.
