Direct query error: Please help

Hey team

we have configured a report with DirectQuery to Azure SQL DB.

We have checked the checkbox so that the PowerBI login credentials are passed to Azure SQL DB(DirectQuery)

However we get this error on the report.

Cannot load model

Couldn't load the model schema associated with this report. Make sure you have a connection to the server, and try again.

Please check the technical details for more information. If you contact support, please provide these details.

Please can anyone suggest what might be going wrong here.
