Different output of Data Type in visuals in Power Bi Desktop then in the Workspace after refresh

Dear all,

I need your assistance.

I have several reports where the data type changes after publishing and refreshing in the workspace of Power Bi.

I have tried to change regional settings, making the report again, changing settings of the browser, my microsoft account. Checked all data types again & again and I haven't found a solution.

First picture - output in desktop:

Second picture - output after publishing:

Third picture after refresh in the workspace:

And I have this in a lot of my reports. I would really really appreciate your assistance, as my reports currently can't be refreshed in the workspace.

Thanks!

Dear Adamk,

Thank you for your reply. I get the data from DBI2. And below is how it shows in source. I it came in Power Query as a decimal number. I didn't change the type.

Thanks for trying to help to find a solution.

Hi @Sarahdobbie ,

Check data type compatibility: Ensure that the data types set in Power BI Desktop are compatible with the source data. A data type mismatch between the source data and the Power BI model may result in unexpected conversions during the refresh process.
