Can someone please explain to me why Power BI Desktop is showing the right value but Power BI services is showing another value. I even published a fresh copy of the report to a new workspace and even that has the wrong values.

I found the issue. So I was working on this report at 10pm at night meaning it was still Sept. 30. When I published it was picking up the date of October 1st. My measure used month(today()) to get current month and then it would calculate the values. So basically our servers are somewhere overseas and the month(today()) function was picking up the wrong month.
Double check to make sure that in the service there no additional page or report filters being applied in the filter pane.
