Date Format Issues

Hi All

We are seeing some formatting issues on both the desktop and service side. I have changed the region on the gateway machine, but the issue persists. Can you help troubleshoot this issue?

Hey @Victor_sp ,

basically, you can't determine a display format.
The date/time format on Power BI Desktop is determined by the regional settings of the local machine, e.g., your laptop.
The date/time format of reports published to the Power BI Service depends on the personal settings inside the Browser. This means you, the developer of Power BI content, can not force your audience (the report consumers) how to perceive a date. I do not recommend transforming date/datetime data types to text. This will open the gates to hell.

Regards,

Tom
