Hi there,
After a new WS look was turned on, for only some workspaces, I don't see underlying datasets. The problem is only with certain workspaces and it has nothing to do with a fact, the workspace was created in an old way. I found 'old' workspaces that show that properly.
For some reason, the filter is already predefined, when I get into 'Datasets + dataflows'. Clearing the filter redirects me to All:
However, the datasets are still not present there:
The only way I access my dataset is to go via View Related & Settings.
Can you please advise what I might be doing wrong or where is the problem?
Thank you very much,
Iva

Hi @v-xuding-msft,
Both ways you have offered work and are a perfect temporary solution for me to be able to proceed daily duties w/o any barrier. Thanks for this!
Re- timing for the fix, sure I understand. Will keep monitoring this post.
Thank you again, Iva
Hi @v-xuding-msft,
I just double-checked and the classic workspace I didn't see datasets previously in, is fine now.
Thank you for your help!

Hi @Anonymous @KBO ,
It is a known issue. Some users have provided feedback in the blog: Introducing the ‘new look’ of workspaces in the Power BI service. The image below is the response of the engineer.
And you also could upgrade your classic workspace to a new app workspace to resolve it. Please reference the document: Upgrade classic workspaces to the new workspaces in Power BI to have a try.
Hope this can help you.😉
Hi @v-xuding-msft,
Thank you very much for your response!
(@KBO, thank you for your note confirming there is something going on)
This explains a lot, I have read the beginning of this thread, however skipped it b/c the mentioned end of the week was supposed to be April 19th. Now I can see, there is an update and the fix should be out around these days.
I would like to avoid migration from classical to a new workspace for now as this workspace is heavily used by our top management. When I migrated the one of the less important workspaces, I wasn't able to go back, I don't want to risk it with this prominent workspace. For sure, this will have to come one day ...
Awesome it is a known issue and the team is working on it!
I will follow this thread to get info about a fix so I can retest.
Thank you very much, Iva
Hi @Anonymous ,
After testing, I find that we can turn off new look to resolve it.
And you also can click on top right corner in Power BI and go to Settings -> Datasets to manage the datasets.
Based on the time of the engineer's reply, I think he means this Friday. However, I search the issue internally, there isn't a specific fixed date. I think it is influenced by the epidemic situation. Please rest assured, if there is any new message, I will post here.

Hi @Anonymous ,
I have a colleague which has the same problem.
May be it is a bug?
Best,
Kathrin
