I've set-up a parameter called RowLimit to limit the rows that are being fetched from a group of files. Basically, it allows me to control the number of rows i'm working with while on Power BI Desktop via an if statement:
if RowLimit > 0 then Table.FirstN(Source, RowLimit) else Source
Once I publish this to our workspace, I set the parameter to 0 and refresh the dataset so all the data is kept.
However, when I refresh the dataset, everything remains the same. I've also made the parameter visible on the data model so I can check if the value is being updated and it is. But the dataset is not getting updated. All of this works on Power BI desktop.
Other things that I have tried, but did not wor
