This is not the behavior I have seen before when a refresh fails.
Usually, if there was a model in place it will not blank out if the refresh fails.
What we are seeing now, is an empty model after a timeout to an OData service it uses to populate the data.
This doesn't seem to be happening to all workspaces the failed error on the service is a 504 Gateway timeout.
My expectation is that the old model would still have data in it since the refresh failed...
thanks for any help on this!
This is happening on the power bi service, so it's not related to desktop. No need for a gateway since it's using an OData endpoint to source it. The model was populated before successfully.
thanks
