I have published a report under a public workspace. The report data connection type is DirectQuery, data source is a Azure SQL database. According to MSDN, any reports data connection type is DirectQuery should be auto updated with the newest data. However, it doesn't effect on the report I published. More than that, I found that if I manully click on the refresh button of that Dataset, then I get my lastest data. So I set-up a refresh-schedule for that dataset. Guess what, every scheduled refresh was successful, however my data didn't get any updated! Could any one answer me why or how this problem happended and how to fix it? I can provide more details if it is needed. Much appciate.
Hi JoeDoe,
As I know schedule refresh should work, you could check whether your server are available currently.
You could try to refersh current web page which show the report to see whether it works or not. Or you could try to interact with visualizations in report to see whether it works or not.
By the way, you also could re-upload the report to see whether it works or not.
Best Regards,
Zoe Zhi
