I have a dataset in production, on a Premium Workspace. It is in import mode, without any incremental refresh. Recently there were changes made to our ledger for past dates, thus I manually refreshed the dataset using PBI Services. It refreshed without any errors. However, the recent updates were not reflected in the updated dataset.
I managed to force a full update by adding a column to the underlying Source SQL. However, I cannot do this each time there are historical updates. How can I force to have the Dataset Refresh be a complete refresh every time?
Any help or insight is highly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, @AdrienneB
If you are saying that the report can‘t be refreshed in time. I think this is because you have opened the report before refreshing the dataset, then the browser will have a cache. You need to refresh the browser or report additionally. If you mind, it is recommended that you use the DQ mode, so that you can get the latest data when you interact with the report.
If you still have problems, please feel free to ask me.

Hi @AdrienneB
You would have to refresh it via SSMS
