Hi there,
My business unit publishes various reports to a wider group, and we have begun a process to make the dataset somewhat available to access.
The problem we currently have is - the dataset has a contactable owner, much like the report, but you can't change it like you can a report.
Our reports, we have made the owner an alias for a global inbox (generic@business.com), but the dataset owner is set to an individual contact (myname@business.com).
Is there anyway to either
(A) change the visible owner of the dataset to a generic email, so that they can email that inbox with questions etc.
or
(B) remove the contactable owner completely, and they can contact the owner (generic) of the matching report with questions.
Thank you

Hi @Anonymous
Thanks for your reply.
You can try this, use "take over" function
then use global inbox to log in and take over dataset

Hi,
That does not solve my query. I am looking at changing the Dataset owner as observed by an audience.
So changing the available field under the blue lines here
Thanks
