Datamart failing to build: Datamart control plane exception. Spartan Service Error.

I'm getting the below message since last night.  It started shortly after I killed (another) datamart by deleting one of the tables in it (super buggy when making changes to the data structure).  I was going to rebuild it and now I can't seem to build any datamarts - all new builds fail with this message.

Creating Datamart - wouldn't work yesterday. Same issue as above. I opened a MS ticket. They were looking if its a cluster specific issue. Today it seems to work.

Same issues today from our side.  Started having issues last week with DataMarts, but now getting this errors specificlly.

Not sure how you can "restart the datamart service" as suggested as it is a MS cloud service that we have no control over.
