Datamart- Deleting Security Roles

Good day, 

How come I'm not able to delete the security roles that I created in a datamart? I've tried deleting them multiple times, on different days, and by different people, but they won't go away.

No one has been assigned to these roles either (if that makes a difference).

There could be a few reasons why you're not able to delete the security roles in your datamart. Here are a few things you can check:

• 1. Make sure you have the necessary permissions to delete security roles. Depending on how your datamart is set up, you may need to have certain administrative privileges in order to delete roles.
• 2. Check if any other processes or applications are currently using the security roles you're trying to delete. If a role is being used by another process, it may not be possible to delete it until that process is finished.
• 3. Verify that the security roles are not being used in any other part of the datamart. Even if no one is currently assigned to the roles, they may still be referenced in other parts of the system, such as in reports or queries.

Hi @v-zhangti, 

Before I could go through your list of things to check, the security roles seem to have disappeared on their own, over the weekend. I'm not sure if it's because the changes take time to occur? Or maybe there was a glitch in the system?

Anyways, should I ever run into the same issue again, I'll be sure to let you know if it works.
