Hi everybody,
I am trying to get a dataflow load data from a data source which is provided via on premise gateway.
I have registered the data source in power bi service with a succesfull connection test.
When I create a new dataflow querying a single table from this data source via the on premise gateway I get the error below:
I am sure the server name and database name in power query match the ones configured in the data source of the gateway.
For testing purposes I created a Power BI file querying the same data source.
After publishing to Power BI service I connect the dataset to the on premise gateway.
Everything works fine and I can refresh the dataset.
Is this a bug in dataflows or anyone knows what could be the reason of the error?
Thanks!
Marc
Solved! Go to Solution.
I found out the issue, you can't use multiple gateways within the same dataflow.
I created a separate dataflow and then I was able to choose a different gateway for the entity.
Kind regards,
marc
Hi @Anonymous ,
