Dataflow gateway

I had a gateway that is used by power BI desktop to grab data via ODBC and it works fine.

Now I want to create a dataflow from the same source and I can't choose from the gateway that I already had:

Is this normal?

When I proceed, there is an error of "Value should be defined". 

What is wrong here?

that's a long standing bug. Investigate the control.txt payload in the browser developer tools to see which connecton string the selection dialog actually expects.,  The spelling must match exactly, otherwise the gateway will not show.
