Hi All.
I have successfully changed the Data Base source for my dataflows. The Data Bases are on the same cluster. The old entry is DM02xxx the New entry is 19C so it is long (((Description XXX))).
When I check the lineage of the dataflow it still shows DM02 as well as the new 19C connection.
Any idea how to get it to only show the new 19C connection?
I've checked settings but it just spins.
Hi @Jack2of3 ,
Please refer to this official document: Change the gateway used in a dataflow project - Power Query | Microsoft Docs

The first entry is the origional connection.
The second entry is after the Power Query Advanced entry was changed.
Should be able to remove the first entry in this app.
I've done the part where I change the Gateway Source DB in Power Query Advanced. Creating a new connection seems to be overkill. Why can't the capability to open the settings and change the gateway source entry be available like with a dataset?
Welcome to the world of dataflow frustration. I've experienced the same. What are the names of the gateway datasources, often this will list teh server and DB name not the name of the datasource.
Unfortunately with it being Oracle data bases it uses the the HOST Server:Port/Database service that is in the TNSNAMES.Ora file. Now with 19C it uses the entire Decription in the TNSNAMES.Ora for connection
