Hello,
We have a dataflow which points to SQL Server (uses Gateway) which has worked fine for months. Suddenly it stopped working around 9AM this morning. Ran fine at 8:30AM
Thoughts on why this is occuring? Checked PBI Status and everything is supposed to be up and running. How can we get more details on what/why it failed. It ran for a duration of 0 seconds so it wasn't a timeout issue.
Thanks,
Dan

Hi @dancarr22 ,
According to your description, here is my suggestion.
1, I suggest that you can first check if the “enhanced compute engine” in dataflow settings be accidently shut down. To user Direct Query with dataflows, you must explicitly toggle the “enhanced compute engine” to on in dataflow settings and you must then refresh the dataflow before it can be consumed in Direct Query mode.
2, It may be caused by too much data volume.
3, You can check whether the gateway works fine refer to following document.
Please refer to the following documents.
