Data difference between App and Workspace

Hello,

I am encountering a strange issue with one of my report/datasets.

The data shown in the App are different from what we see in the report published in the Workspace.

To my knowledge, the dataset used in the App is the same than into the Workspace. Is there any cache feature or something which may explain these differences?

Thanks.

Hi. Remember that ones you publish a report to the service, the app won't take that last change. If the developer has added a hidden or visible filter for the page or visual, then it won't be at the app until the admin upgrades the app. That might be one reason to have differences between app and workspaces.

Another thing you should consider is user filters. If the report has the option that filters will be saved for the users then you can have an old filter you clicked a long time ago, in order to clean them up you can "Reset filters" from the button on the top for both app and workspace.

I hope that helps,

Hello,

Thanks for your answer 🙂

Filters (by the users or the dev) was my first idea but in this case the data themselves are just totally different.
For a same row in the fact I managed to isolate, the data are not the same between the App and the workspace. That's why I suspected a cache or something to explain it...
