Good afternoon,
Looking for advice or documentation on the auditing capabilities of Power BI. Specifically, whether they offer auditing on user interaction with dashboards. We currently have a proprietary application which hosts data analytics and since we are in control, I can log every request received and response delivered. If a user changes a value for slicing the dataset, I can see the change in the API request and log the resulting dataset.
Colleagues have reviewed and lean towards it not being an option but I was a little surprised by this and found some documents that make me lean the other way. So, is this granularity something Power BI offers?
Thank you!

@powerbiminion The Audit log in Office 365 has some Power BI auditing capabilities but perhaps not quite that granular:
Hi @powerbiminion ,
Thanks for the reply from @Greg_Deckler , please allow me to provide another insight:
Data-level auditing is a method that data creators can use to track the performance and usage patterns of the data assets they create, publish, and share. More details can be found in the document: Power BI implementation planning: Data-level auditing - Power BI | Microsoft Learn.
Monitoring usage metrics in your workspace can give you visibility into how your content is being consumed, allowing you to discover who is using these reports across your organization and how they're using them. More detailed information can be found in the document: Monitor usage metrics in workspaces (preview) - Power BI | Microsoft Learn.
The Power BI Activity Log, based on the Power BI REST API, provides insight into who is performing what action on which item in Power BI to help organisations meet their requirements. More details are available in the documentation: Track user activities in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
Best Regards,
Clara Gong
