Hi rajendraongole1 ,thanks for the quick reply, I'll add more.

Hi @chetan8080 ,

Regarding your question, alerts only apply to data of numeric type.

If you select this option, Power BI Service detects if it has been more than a day since the last alert email was sent, and does not send it if it has not.

If your initial data is A and after the first day of refreshing the data it is B, the alert will be triggered, if after the third day of refreshing the data it is still B (which has changed compared to the initial data), the alert will not be triggered. Alerts are sent only when data changes, and you will not receive duplicate alerts with unchanged values.

Thanks for the reply , "alerts only apply to data of numeric type"

Hi @chetan8080 ,

Sorry for the error in my previous reply, I misinterpreted what you meant. I viewed the image you provided and your threshold is set to greater than 1, but your value does not meet the threshold.

Hi @chetan8080 -Alerts in Power BI are triggered when the data crosses a specific threshold. If the data changes but doesn’t cross the set threshold, the alert will not trigger.Check the Condition Type: Ensure that the conditions are set to trigger alerts in both directions (above and below the threshold) if needed.

Try creating an alert based on a simpler visual or single measure to see if that works, which might help narrow down the problem.

lastly, Check your notification settings in Power BI under Settings > Alerts and verify the correct email is associated. Also, check the spam/junk folder for missed alerts.
