Learn from the best! Meet the four finalists headed to the FINALS of the Power BI Dataviz World Championships! Register now
Hi there.
This is going to be a hard one to troubleshoot but here goes. My company has 2 process accounts that had a password change over the weekend. I have them configured in ODBC manager 64 bit and the new passwords test successfully. I then proceeded to update the passwords in the 3 dashboards that I have and refresh the data to ensure the new passwords work and the refresh is successful. However, when I publish all 3 dashboards back to the PBI server and try to refresh from there, I get a data source error - shown below.
I also check the gateway settings and see the below.
In my data source credentials, I see the below.
I did refresh the gateway and the screen states it is online and ready to be used. I don't know what to do from here. I also tried the troubleshooting docs for PBI to no avail. Help!
Thanks, LB
Hi @FOXYBARK ,
Based on error information, try updating the credentials.
Then, go to the manage gateways section and check if the gateway connection using the updated credentials.
Besides, recreating the data source using valid credential and create the data connection.

Hi @FOXYBARK
This connection is still showing an error
I would make sure that there are no triangles being shown?
