Data Refresh Issues

Good afternoon,

I have built a report in Power BI Desktop that uses data from a sharepoint list. Once I completed the report I publshed it to my workspace and got the "Embed Report" link to put into the sharepoint web part to display a power bi report.  It works great; however as data is added to the share point list (i don't mean columns just new line items) the report in the embedded web part does not change. When i open it up in my workspace it does not show updated data either. And when i hit the referesh visuals button nothing changes either.  I have closed out browser, cleared cache, restarted computer and no change.  I have waited a couple hours and no change.  To tell the truth it feels suspiciously like there is a "switch" i have forgotten to flip for lack of a better analogy. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @glandrum72 

You will have to go into your data Source settings for your PBIX Semantic Model (Dataset) and update the credentials for your SharePoint List.

Once that is done you can then do a scheduled refresh which will then refresh the data.
