Hello,
I have a dashboard that has connects to excel files on OneDrive and a database using OData feed. I used "Organizational" account to connect the OData feedin PowerBI Desktop. Refreshing the data works fine in the desktop version, but I get an error saying the credentials are invalid when I try to refresh the published version online. I set up a personal gateway, which seems to be working for the excel files, but the OData feedconnection still won't refresh. I don't see "Organizational" as a connection option there and it says that OAuth2 is not supported. Any suggestions to get this working?
Thank you!
Rowan
Hi @rowanbarnes ,
Odata data sources generally have the following authentication methods: Anonymous , basic , key, OAuth2.
I'm able to refresh successfully with an organization on my Power BI.
Some services support the ability for the OData connector to authenticate with OAuth/AAD authentication out of the box. However, this won't work in most cases.
You can try other Authentications.
