I've read the other posts on the forum and none seem to have been drawn to a conclusion.
Since approximately March 2023 we've had an increase in scheduled refresh failures via our data gateway. I regularly go on and make sure it is up to date. An update will alleviate some of the refresh errors for a couple days, but it soons returns to failure. We are having to consistently manually go through and run refreshes on the data in order for end users to interact with their dashboards. When manually refreshing, it will work more often than not, but there are also failures with the connection then.
Is there a resolution to this?

I would suggest chatting to the person who owns your gateway virtual machine to check to see if there are any hardware issues with regards to your gateway.
Could you also cheque that you have the latest version of the Power BI gateway installed?
Our server is in line with these requirements: Install an on-premises data gateway | Microsoft Learn
The gateway is version: 3000.198.9 (2023-11-03)
