Hi,
I have a Power Bi dashborad that is connected to a sharepoint online list and it is on scheduled refresh every few hours which is working perfectly. This dashboard sits in my workspace on Power Bi app. However, I have few questions regarding some advance features that power bi may or not provie.
1. Why doesn't the refresh does not include/reflect any additional column that were created on same sharepoint list after publishing initial report?
2. How to open an existing report/dataset in power bi app which is connected to a sharepoint list and saved on power bi online workspace as if I am resume editing where I left off?
I want to update my dashdoard with new data and visual using new columns that has been updated on sharepoint list since last publishing of bi report without have to start from scratch. Is this a limitation?
Thank you in advance!

You have to edit your Power Query steps to bring in the new columns from the source SharePoint list, then republish your dataset.
