Dashboard not loading

We have a dashboard which accesses two data sources, both of which are excel files containing about 500 and 5000 rows in each of them. But, when we access the dashboard online, not only it takes quite a time to load but also the page goes unresponsive when we try to access the filters. In my experience, this shouldn't be happening for a dashboard with this small a dataset and that too without a live connection. Could someone please explain why this might be happening?

@jpranavi

Hoping that it is an intermittent issue.

Can you please check the below details.

1. Data Source (Local / Network Drive / Onedrive / Sharepoint - Excel)

2. Connectivity Mode - Import / Direct Query

3. Gateway - On-premises/Personal

4. Gateway Version - Month and Year.

Note:- Always try to maintain latest version of the Gateway.

Hi there

Are you importing the 2 excel files into Power BI desktop and then creating the dashboard from the Power BI Report?
