I have created plots using R GGPLOT API and able to run it on PowerBi Desktop. When I tried to publish it on powerbi.com, it did not display the visuals saying R Visuals are a Power BI pro Feature . Only users with Pro License can create, view or interact with R visuals . I used the it in January 2016 and during that time I was abe to publish the R visuals in PowerBI.com.
My question is, whether the license required just for publishing or for viewing as well. Please confirm
Thanks
Vikas Gupta
R visuals in Power BI service are enabled only for domain verified Pro users. You need Pro Licence for publishing and viewing as well.
You need to enable it in PBI service before you can visualize and the option is only supported in Pro version.
