DMTS_DatasourceHasNoCredentialError - Credential Error

I am getting the following error code:

Error code: DMTS_DatasourceHasNoCredentialError

Connection error: Connection has no credentials

I have an on-premises SQL Gate Way that I am unable to add credentials. 

The connection type is analysis service through a data cube which is also on premise. 

I have gone into the gateway settings and the only authentication option is “Windows without impersonation”. 

Even after selecting this option, I am unable to save the settings. I will click save but nothing will happen. 

Is there another way to enter credentials or am I missing a step somewhere else.

First, ensure that you’re using a supported version of the on-premises data gateway.

Check whether the user of the SQL statement is valid,Grant permissions to users in SQL statements
